you did indeed. My deep, sexy voice does occasionally baffle people, and when there aren’t any other indicators available, like my full name, my body, or a freaking context, sometimes I get confused with a teenaged guy. That kinda makes sense, and I don’t begrudge anyone over it. This artsy-fartsy audio crap I do is very much a field otherwise dominated by guys, the psychedelic community is a sausage fest, and I’ll happily admit that this? Isn’t the most feminine website I’ve ever made.
*shrug* the older someone is, generally the less flexible their understanding of gender is, even when they mean well or should know better and even with people who are only a little gender deviant. Besides, Lorenzo has built his entire second career around taking ENORMOUS quantities of acid. His perceptions are quite relative. *chuckles*

I guess we truly are the sum of our experience. I assumed you were female and then looked around until I found a name that would push me one way or the other.
Then again, I assume everyone online is male until proven otherwise.

This is true. Fundamentally, however, it doesn’t really matter one way or the other. For all but a very small circle of people, I’m just a little icon with a silly name inside your computer that is occasionally associated with text or an mp3.

I don’t think even the sort of socially retarded male trolls you find on the internet would ever use the word “douche” in the title of anything. But then again my perceptions are off from years of having mostly female friends so maybe I’m giving the trolls too much credit.
